The purpose of the site is mainly to increase awareness of Tippecanoe County as a travel destination by implementing effective marketing strategies. It is also seeking to promote Tippecanoe County and the surrounding area as an attractive travel destination by enhancing its public image as a dynamic place to live, work and play.
The target audiences of the posts on the site are basically people travelling to Lafayette and West Lafayette and those who live here as well. Thus, many blogs posted are serving to provide places to travel and for people who either live here or want to travel here to relax. For example, the Lafayette Theater and the Water Park posted recently are the two places people may want to pay a visit to during spare time.

Basically, every post starts with some background history about the place which people may be interested in. Then it provides some statistics or personal stories about the place.
